Join Celebrated Chef D’mytrek Brown as he returns for Food 102 Part II to share more tricks of the trade and tips for Food Styling for photography and video. This 2.5-hour class will give you a hands-on food styling experience with Chef D’mytrek Brown, Atlanta Based Food Stylist extraordinaire whose clients include Delta Airlines; Whole Food Market; Bon Appetit; Real Simple; Food and Wine Magazine, and Coca Cola, to name a few.

This promises to be a series you don’t want to miss. You’ll be styling food like a pro in no time!! Students taking the Food Styling Part II class will learn:

A. Grill marks on protein: demonstration on how to perfect grill marks on veggies and meats to make them shine for the camera.

B. Condiment and Dollop swirls: Secrets to make your condiments, sauces, and drips look like beautiful and flowing swirls for the camera.

C. Cheese melting and Cheese pulls The highly sought-after cheese hero actions that make people drool over, such as Grilled Cheese and Pizza slice cheese pulls.

D. Preparing the perfect veggies for the camera: The Do’s and Don’t’s – Blanching, Shocking, and Glossing for the camera.

E. How to best create steam in a picture: Dark backgrounds; unique tools used to create steam on set

F. What food products steam well

G. Fruit freshness for the camera: Misting, Glossing, Frosting, Cutting and Placement for the camera
