Daryl Shular, CMC
Certified Master Chef, President
becoming the first African-American and minority to successfully pass the
grueling 130-hour; eight-day test known as the Master Chef exam. After
years of preparation and personal sacrifice Chef Shular prevailed and earned
the culinary industry’s highest honor, the designation known as Certified
Master Chef (CMC).
Shular has been recognized and featured in many media publications,
including the prestigious American historical archives “ The History Makers”.
His induction into The History Makers in 2005 made Chef Shular one of the
youngest ever and one of only a few African-American chefs elected for this
achievement.

Isaac Crawford
Vice President, Chef Instructor
On the private chef scene, Chef Crawford has serviced numerous celebrity clients including Richard Schiff, Usher Raymond, and Dr. Sanjay Gupta (CNN) to name a few. His culinary accolades include Chef de Cuisine Certification with the American Culinary Federation, of which he serves as the 2020-2021 Vice President. In his role as a lead culinary instructor at RCA, Chef Crawford’s teaching styles encompass classical cooking techniques with modern-day molecular gastronomy.

Sheryl "Chef Gigi" Stewart
Executive Director
Chef Gigi has had a love affair with all thing’s food for over 30 years. Raised by a single Mother of seven, she spent most of her time in the kitchen, where she prepared full meals to feed her siblings and family. She began cooking at the young age of 10. She was inspired by recipes her working Mom would leave for her and then call with instructions on how to follow and produce amazing meals.
With influences from both her Grandmothers in creating a mixture of their Caribbean, Latin, and New England flavors, she ultimately developed her famous style of Afro-Caribbean cooking.
As a food enthusiast herself, Chef Gigi followed her passion and graduated with honors from the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu, Atlanta in 2016, having the honor of studying under the tutelage of the country’s first African American Certified Master Chef, Daryl Shular.

Private Events and In-Home Cooking
Enjoy an amazing culinary experience in the comfort of your home through our online virtual kitchen or in our PlateED profession test kitchens.
Intimate Dinners, Birthday Parties, Holiday Gatherings, Bridal Showers and Corporate Team Building
Online Interactive Classes
Each fully interactive class will range from 60-120 minutes of interactive step by step cooking. Attendees will have the ability to ask questions in real-time as they progress through the production.

Signature Workshop and Camps
Our hands-on modern cooking and pastry classes are design to introduce students to the principles of modern cooking in our culinary test lab. Our 10 and 16-week culinary and baking classes are limited to 16-students to assure the quality of experience and full engagement. Classes are available for both morning and evening students and are offered in 4-hour blocks to accommodate personal time and work schedules. No previous experience required.
